Techno-Mythopoeia
Guided tour through game environment.
V2_, Rotterdam, 2020-2021

A series of experimental, guided cosmogonic tours, placing the live audience in a First Person Perspective myth-making game environment. Together with human and non-human narrators, the participants traverse the mythical topographies of the ‘next generation’ 5G network. The narrators techno-mythologise the geophysics and geopolitics of 5G, accompanied by the composition of a live soundscape.

In collaboration with Guillemette Legrand.
Live sound composition: Jim Zwerts
3D artist: Filip Setmanuk

Live stream programming: Niek van Sleeuwen

Bodies of Resonance
Conference, lecture performance, podcast.
A/D/O, New York, 2019-2020

5G is the promise of a multi-billion industry where an always faster and more connected wireless internet will connect everything (machine-machine-machine) and everyone (human-machine-human).

Within this sprawling infrastructure that is 5G, we reimagine electromagnetic frequency as a way to communicate the array and disarray between human bodies, socio-political bodies, and celestial bodies.

Curated by Jan Boelen and Charlotte d’Argence
In collaboration with Guillemette Legrand.

Between Pixels
Video and sound installation,
Vanabbemuseum & TAC,
Eindhoven, 2018

With the pixel being swallowed by hi-res screens and hi-res data streams, this video installation breaks the perfect image by re-visualising the space between pixels. Through entering the gaps, the resolution of imagery exposes the constructed nature of the digital world that attempts to swallow us.
